Viera Elite Regional Flag Football

Flag football is one of the fastest-growing sports in the country—and the momentum is only building. With girls’ flag football now recognized as an official high school sport in many states, athletes have more opportunities than ever to compete, develop, and be seen. Colleges are beginning to offer scholarships specifically for flag football, creating a clear pathway to the next level. With the sport set to make its Olympic debut in 2028, there has never been a better time to get involved.

At Viera Elite, our mission is to help athletes reach their full potential—both on and off the field. Our program provides experienced coaching, structured development, and a competitive environment designed to prepare players for higher levels of play. Through travel tournaments, high-level competition, and a strong focus on fundamentals, teamwork, and confidence, we give athletes the opportunity to grow, compete, and succeed.

Program Overview:

We are excited to expand the Viera Elite program with the introduction of an all-girls competitive team, while continuing to build strong boys teams across all age groups.

All teams are tryout-based and will represent SVYFL in competitive tournaments throughout Florida.

Tryout Information:

Date: May 16, 2026
Time: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Location: Viera Regional Park Football Fields

Age Groups: 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U, 18U (Boys & Girls)

Program Costs:

* $200 registration fee (due once selected to a team)
* $50 per tournament (collected as teams are accepted into events)

* BNA Summer Classic (Ocala) – June 27, 2026
* Battle on the Beach (Clearwater) – September 4–6, 2026
* Battle Orlando – USA Regional Qualifier – October 10–11, 2026
* NFL Flag Tampa Bay – Regional Qualifier – Fall 2026 (TBD)
* Tampa National Championships* – January 17, 2027
*Teams must qualify through regional events
* NFL Flag Miami – Regional Qualifier – Spring 2027 (TBD)
* NFL Flag Jacksonville – Regional Qualifier – Spring 2027 (TBD)

Practices & Equipment:

* Practices are held at Viera Regional Park twice per week.  * Athletes are expected to attend at least one practice per week.
* Uniforms and flags are provided.
* Helmets are optional for Elite teams.
