SVYFL Tackle Football League
Welcome to SVYFL Tackle Football, home of the Hawks!
The Suntree Viera Youth Football League (SVYFL) Tackle Football program is a Pop Warner–affiliated league competing in the East Coast Conference. Our program provides athletes the opportunity to compete at the local, regional, and national levels while developing both on and off the field.
SVYFL Tackle Football is built on a foundation of safety, character development, and competitive excellence. We strive to create an environment where athletes can grow as players, teammates, and young leaders.
Program Philosophy
Player safety and character development are core principles of the SVYFL Tackle Football program. All tackle football coaches and team parents are subject to comprehensive background checks. Our coaching staff participates in the USA Football Heads Up program, ensuring they are trained in proper tackling techniques, concussion awareness, and heat-related illness prevention.
Safety is a priority at every practice and game, and our coaches emphasize responsible, disciplined play while fostering respect for the game and for one another.

Format Overview
- Full-field tackle football
- Competitive, full-contact gameplay

- Regular season typically runs from August through November
Game Day Experience
Approximately half of all games are played at home in the Hawk’s Nest at Viera Regional Park, creating a strong home-field atmosphere. With the time spent together throughout the season, families often describe SVYFL as more than just a league—it is a close-knit community that includes players, parents, siblings, and grandparents.
Community & Development
SVYFL Tackle Football is proud to partner with Viera High School Football as a feeder program. This relationship allows athletes to grow within the Hawks tradition from youth football through high school, helping them feel connected to something larger than their individual teams and inspiring them to continue their football journey.
