SVYFL Announces Move to ACYAA for 2026 Tackle Football Season

SVYFL Announces New Partnership with ACYAA for Tackle Football and Cheer Beginning in 2026

The Suntree Viera Youth Football League (SVYFL) is excited to announce that beginning with the 2026 season, our tackle football and cheer programs will compete in the Atlantic Coast Youth Athletics Association (ACYAA).

This move marks an exciting new chapter for our league as we continue to grow and provide the best possible experience for youth athletes in Suntree, Viera, and across Brevard County.

A New Era for SVYFL Football and Cheer

After many successful seasons of competition, SVYFL leadership made the strategic decision to transition to ACYAA, a growing youth athletics organization focused on competitive play, athlete development, and flexible scheduling opportunities.

The move allows SVYFL to continue expanding opportunities for our athletes while maintaining the high standards of safety, coaching, and community involvement that have defined our program since its founding in 2004.

Continued Focus on Player Development

SVYFL remains committed to developing well-rounded student athletes who learn the value of teamwork, discipline, and leadership through football and cheer.

Our program continues to serve as a feeder program for Viera High School Football, helping young athletes build skills and confidence as they progress through their football journey.

In addition, the leagueโ€™s NFL FLAG program now serves as a feeder program for the Viera High School Varsity Girls Flag Football team, creating even more opportunities for athletes in our community.

Stronger Opportunities for SVYFL Athletes

By joining ACYAA, SVYFL athletes will benefit from:

โ€ข Greater scheduling flexibility
โ€ข Continued focus on athlete safety and development
โ€ข Opportunities to compete against strong programs across the region

The Future of SVYFL

Since its founding by 12 volunteers in 2004, SVYFL has grown into one of the largest youth football and cheer programs in Central Florida, serving nearly 1,000 athletes each year.

With the transition to ACYAA, the league continues to evolve while staying true to its mission of providing a safe, competitive, and community-driven youth sports experience.

The future of SVYFL is bright, and we look forward to seeing our Hawks continue to compete, grow, and represent the Viera community with pride.
